WILDHIDE EXHIBITION

In 2014, I curated the Wildhide Exhibition at Rtist Gallery in Prahran. I imported a selection of rare, large scale, Nguni cow hides from South Africa. Each individual hide was unique in its markings, not dissimilar to abstract artworks, confirming that Mother Nature, is the best designer.

I developed a powerful and unique magnet system, with the help of the National Gallery of Victoria, that could support their weight, and displayed them on the gallery walls as works of art.

The show was a sellout success and received a very positive response, due to its creative curation.

All proceeds from the show went towards supporting the local, impoverished Zulu community in South Africa.
