WILDHIDE EXHIBITION

In 2014, I imported and curated Wildhide, an exhibition of rare, large scale, Nguni cow hides from South Africa. Each individual hide was unique in its markings, not dissimilar to abstract artworks, that proved that Mother Nature is the best designer.

I developed a unique magnet system, with the help of the National Gallery of Victoria, that could support their weight and displayed them on a Melbourne gallery wall, like an art exhibition.

All proceeds from the show went to support the local, impoverished Zulu community that they came from in SA.
